Promotion: Anthology of the contemporary drama from Kosovo

On Monday (11th of June) from 12:00 in the National Theatre of Kosovo, Qendra Mutimedia from Prishtina, in cooperation with the publishing house from Turkey Mitos Boyut, promotes “Anthology of the contemporary drama from Kosovo” [Çagdas Kosova Oyunlari Seçkisi], a book published  this year in Turkey.

In this promotion event there will be participating, the well-known Turkish publisher Turhan Yılmaz Öğüt, director of the publishing house Mitos Boyut, Mehmet Fatih Ölekli, editor in Mitos Boyut and Dr. Senem Cevher, translator of the anthology and theatre scholar.

The collection “Anthology of the contemporary drama from Kosovo” includes drama written by authors: Xhevdet Bajraj, Ilir Gjocaj, Visar Krusha dhe Jeton Neziraj.

Mitos Boyut is the biggest publishing house in Turkey with its main activity being in publishing drama and books in the field of theatre. Previously this publishing house has published books of Stefan Capaliku, Doruntima Basha and Jeton Neziraj.

The publishing of this anthology in Turkish is important for promoting the new dramaturgy composition from Kosovo.

The publishing of this book was made possible with the cooperation of Qendra Multimedia, through the support of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Kosovo, through the fund for supporting publishing in 2017.
