OPEN CALL FOR PERFORMERS

We are looking for freelance performers to join our upcoming international theater project Lullabies for Warriors (working title) to be produced in the 2026–2027 season. Conceived and developed by director Michael Lessac and playwright Jeton Neziraj over many years, there is an urgency to mount this production now. 

We are interested in actors/actresses with a strong commitment to international theatre projects and a desire for work in an open and long collaborative creation process.

Specifically we are looking for actors/actresses with these ethnic backgrounds: Palestinian, Roma, German, Israeli, Irish, Albanian, Serbian, Iranian, South African, living anywhere.

Those interested in this project should be available for play development, rehearsals, and long-term international touring.

Working periods: 

18 – 27 June 2026 (play development) - Prishtina, Kosovo   

10 – 20 November 2026 (starting of the creation). - Prishtina, Kosovo

Production period in 2027 will be between May and October, in Kosovo or Albania (precise period to be announced later). Following the opening, selected performers must be available for an international tour that will take place sporadically over a period of two to three years.

Selected candidates will be contacted by April 20, 2026 and will be invited to the workshop in June (18th-27th). Selected participants will have their travel, accommodation and food costs covered during this workshop period.
