Discussion with Roland Schimmelpfennig in Prishtina

On Tuesday (December 3) starting from 18:00 at Qendra Multimedia, a discussion about theatre, European play will take place with the famous German playwright Roland Schimmelpfennig. The discussion will be moderated by Jeton Neziraj.

Parts of theatre materials produced within the masterclass with Roland Schimmelpfennig organized by Qendra Multimedia will be read after the discussion. Dhurata Hoti, Andrin Kabashi, Rebeka Qena, Lidija Mitoska, Butrint Pasha, Agnesa Mehanolli, Redon Kika, Ardita Rafuna, Arjanis Shamolli, Eranda Bokshi and Vezire Krasniqi will read their texts.

Roland Schimmelpfennig (1967) is one of the most important and staged playwrights in Europe. His plays have been translated to over 30 languages and staged in around 50 countries around the world. In 2010, Schimmelpfennigwas awarded the Mülheim Dramatists Prize for his play Der goldene Drache[The Golden Dragon], which premiered in Burgtheater, Vienna in 2009 and after that, had over 30 productions all around the world. Schimmelpfennigwas awarded tens of other prizes in Germany and Europe, including the highest German prize for drama Else LaskerSchüler Prize.
