Book digitalisation – a project by FLOSSK

Over 20 pupils of “Xhemail Mustafa” elementary school in Prishtina, participated in the hands-on class on book digitalisation that was organized by NGO FLOSSK Free Libre Open Source Software Kosova at “Hivzi Sylejmani” library in Prishtina. During this class, pupils had the opportunity to scan Kosovo’s daily newspapers published during the 90s but they were also informed about the digital archiving process of written materials in the framework of preserving the cultural heritage of Kosovo.
