‘Many Identities? Kill Some of Them!’
International Playwrights Workshop with Mark Ravenhill
We are thrilled to invite young and emerging playwrights, writers, and other theatre-makers to apply for the international workshop ‘Many Identities? Kill Some of Them!’, led by acclaimed British playwright Mark Ravenhill. This intensive seven-day workshop will take place in Prishtina (Kosovo) and Skopje (North Macedonia) as part of the Kosovo–North Macedonia Theatre Showcase 2025.
Over the course of the workshop, participants will experiment with playful, provocative, and innovative theatrical forms to explore the complexities of identity—personal, political, religious, and social—at the intersection of past, present, and future. While the sessions will be conducted in English, participants are encouraged to write in any combination of languages that best suits their creative expression.
The program will center on hands-on writing exercises, complemented by group reflection and discussion.
Workshop Dates: 27 October – 1 November 2025
Locations: Prishtina & Skopje
Working Language: English
