Qendra Multimedia celebrates World Book Day

Qendra Multimedia and Goethe Institut within Culture for Change project, are organizing two activities, one in Prishtina and the other in Ferizaj.

In Ferizaj, in the municipal library “Sadik Tafarshiku” from 13:00. Authors that will be reading:

In Prishtina, in Qendra Multimedia from 20:00. Authors that will be reading:

Arbër Selmani, Ardiana Shala Prishtina, Edi Shukriu, Genc  Kadriu, Sibel Halimi

23 April is a symbolic date for word literature.

This date was assigned as World Book day by UNESCO’s General Conference, held in Paris in 1995, to pay a world-wide tribute to books and authors on this date, encouraging everyone, and in particular young people, to discover the pleasure of reading and gain a renewed respect for the irreplaceable contributions of those, who have furthered the social and cultural progress of humanity.
