The Kosovo Theatre Showcase returns to Prizren, Kosovo, from 6–8 November 2026 with a special edition that builds on its tradition as an important international theatre platform while opening a new chapter in its development.
This year’s programme will combine selected theatre productions from Kosovo and the region with an international theatre conference under the theme:
[DE]CONTAMINATING THE TRUTH: Can Theatre Reconcile the Contradictions Between Truths? If Yes, Then at What Cost?
The Showcase will present performances including Unrecognized by Data Tavadze (Georgia), Kosovo Trilogy in Two Parts by Blerta Neziraj (Kosovo), and They Are All Gone by Andrej Nosov (Serbia).
The conference will bring together theatre professionals and speakers including Mark Ravenhill (UK), Sebastian Nübling (Germany), Natasha Tripney (UK), Data Tavadze (Georgia), and many others to be announced.
The official programme starts on Friday, 6 November after 5 PM, and concludes on Sunday, 8 November 2026. Participants are encouraged to plan their arrival for 6 November and departure for 9 November.
